5 Injured In Head-On Crash In South Jersey

Five people were injured in a head-on crash in Camden County.

On Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 3:02 pm, Gloucester Township Police were dispatched to the intersection of Berlin Cross Keys Road at Johnson Road for a report of a collision involving two vehicles where one of the vehicles was beginning to smoke.

Arriving GTPD Officers and Firefighters from Lambs Terrace safely removed all occupants of the vehicles as one of the vehicles became fully involved in fire which was quickly put out. 

nspira BLS and Virtua ALS units treated the drivers and occupants of both vehicles. An adult and two juveniles were taken to Cooper University Hospital and two other juveniles were taken to Jefferson Washington Township with injuries ranging from minor to serious, but not life-threatening, police said.

An investigation revealed a Gray Subaru Impreza was traveling westbound and as it approached the intersection the driver of a White Honda Pilot traveling eastbound abruptly attempted to make a left turn onto Johnson Road in front of the Subaru causing a head-on collision. =
